MCHALE PLANT SALES: INCREASES FOCUS ON FARM MACHINERY SECTOR

Exhibits planned at Millstreet and Cavan Spring Farm Machinery Shows

Construction-to-agri machinery distributor, McHale Plant Sales is increasing its focus on the farm machinery sector with exhibition appearances planned at two leading New Year farm machinery shows: the Spring Farm Machinery Show planned for Millstreet on January 10th & 11th, and the Cavan Spring Farm Machinery Show which takes place on January 31st & February 1st next.

With an eye firmly placed on contractors seeking to ‘open new ground’ on the equipment front, their exbibit at both shows will include four top Komatsu models, two units from their extensive Merlo telehandler range, and a highly useful and innovative attachment from their new Prinoth line-up.

Komatsu

In their distinctive and safety-focused Komatsu yellow livery, models on show will include three excavators in the form of a PC16MR-3 mini-size digger, a slightly larger and more powerful PC80MR-5 midi-size digger, and a powerful tackle-what-comes PC138USLC-11 excavator – also exhibiting will be some models from the Komatsu rock-breaker range.

In addition to the excavator line-up, another model to be showcased will be the ‘grain harvesting and silage contractor’s favourite’: a powerful, heavy duty, Agri-specified WA270 wheel loader.

Merlo

From the Merlo telehandler range – eye-catchingly familiar in their distinctive farm-friendly ‘green’ livery – two models are spotlighted: a high-spec Panoramic P27.6 favoured for its lift capacity (2,700kg) and boom reach (6m) and a Turbofarmer TF38.10TT with its long reach (10m), generous lift capacity (3.8t) and exclusive side shift capability.

Prinoth – Newcomer to the Agri scene

For contractors – whether focused on land or forest – one exhibit appearing on the McHale Plant Sales exhibit at both events will be the latest edition Prinoth Mulcher. Designed to do what it says on the tin, the Prinoth Mulcher is described as ‘an extremely useful item of equipment’ designed to make short work of reclaiming stump-strewn forest floors, and in clearing ground and pathways for farm, mountain or forest road construction.

As McHale Plant Sales director, Denis McGrath comments: “in the area of land clearance and reclamation, the Prinoth Mulcher has an ‘eat-its-way-through anything’ appetite that makes it the perfect machine for the ’we-can-handle-that’ contractor.

Also within the Prinoth range supplied by McHale, some other machines worthy of mention are the tracked all-terrain vehicle range, useful for working in bog land and soft ground situations, and the self-propelled Raptor range which have a remote-control facility for use on sloping motorway verges”.
